Larry Sands(“Homer”)
After graduating from Cornell
University in 1973, Homer moved to the Stowe area and "can't
imagine living anywhere other than Vermont". His initial
tenure as an auditor for the Mt. Mansfield Company provided
ample opportunities to ski and to enjoy the natural beauty
that Stowe and Lamoille County have to offer. In the late
1970's he turned to the real estate profession as a salesman
and a broker, and also bought, built and sold many properties
in the local area.
By 1980 his interest had
focused on real estate appraising, as the need for qualified
and knowledgeable people in this growing field became evident.
He has been a full time appraiser with Luce Hill Associates
since 1983, the longest tenure of anyone presently with
the firm.
Homer specializes in appraising residential
property in Lamoille County and Waterbury, with particular
expertise in Stowe where he makes his home. His experience
from almost three decades of work in the local market ensures
that you will receive an accurate and comprehensive appraisal
product. Just ask around; its likely that some of your friends
and neighbors are satisfied clients. When he is not in the
office or on assignment, chances are you will find him on
one of Stowe's legendary Front Four, at the ice rink, or
touring around Stowe's back roads on his bicycle.
